Having a baby? Baby showers invitations, thank you cards send after the shower, and birth announcements are all part of having a baby. Why not design get started on all three that work as a group? A fantastic thing to do is to upload a photo of your child in the womb. You can ask your doctor to email you a photo of the sonogram and then you can use that image to upload onto our site. If you know if the child will be a boy or girl, and have already chosen a name, you can design all three and have them ready to go. You can choose a specific font just for the child's name for the cover of the card. You'll want to choose a color for the cards. TIPS: If you want an original card, you can always choose a color based on the child's birth month color. The month that the child is due has a specific stone, and color associated with it. Here are the colors suggested for each month:
January - Birthstone is Garnet; Color is Deep Red, Maroon, or Magenta
February - Birthstone is Amethyst; Color is Lavender or Purple
March - Birthstone is Aquamarine; Color is Pale Blue
April - Birthstone is Diamond; Color is Sparkling White
May - Birthstone is Emerald; Color is a Deep Green
June - Birthstone is Pearl; Color is Creamy White
July - Birthstone is Ruby; Color is Vibrant Red or Bright Red
August - Birthstone is Peridot; Color is Pale Green
September - Birthstone is Sapphire; Color is Navy or Deep Blue
October - Birthstone is Opal; Color is a Effervescent White
For birth announcements you can find the child's colorstrology color from www.colorstrology.com and then find the same color that matches our online editing tool. Other things to keep in mind for your baby shower, is the time, date, and location of the event. Make sure to urge the recipient to RSVP for the event. We recommend sending out Thank You Cards for the Baby Shower approximately 1 week after the shower, if you wait any longer, you may forget the cards once your baby is born! You'll surely have your hands full with the wonderful joy of having a child.
